Dine high up in the sky - Boeing 777-200

By MKA

While many passengers have complained about the apparent decline in in-flight meals on most Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flights, the business class menu has maintained its five-star rating. From what I observed, there were no noticeable changes in quality—either for better or worse—at least on the Beijing-Kuala Lumpur route.

The starters were beautifully presented.

Salads with beans.

This is the main course I chose: seafood spaghetti.

The pudding was served with peppermint, but the taste was so unpleasant to me that I couldn't even finish the small portion.

Enjoy the scenery while dining—at least while the sun is still shining. Since it was a late afternoon flight from Beijing, daylight lasted only for the first couple of hours before the rest of the journey unfolded in darkness. But then, there’s a different kind of beauty at night—seeing cities illuminated with colorful lights from high above. The most stunning view on this trip? Without a doubt, Hong Kong.

After enjoying our meal, it was time to relax and unwind for the rest of the journey. By then, darkness had fallen outside, and the cabin lights were dimmed. For some, it was the perfect time to sleep—but not for me. I saw it as the ideal moment to enjoy the in-flight entertainment.
